Francois de Laigue is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University and the co-founder and CEO of Dotted Square, Inc., a blockchain-based payment solutions company. He has over two decades of experience in the tech space, having worked closely with global corporations such as Microsoft, Orange France Telecom, British Telecom, Accenture, Proctor & Gamble, and many others to generate billions of dollars in top-line growth.
Francois is a dynamic executive and strategist who has launched, turned around, and scaled up fast-paced media and tech businesses. Over the last decade, he has served as acting COO and Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Global Operations at Pulsepoint, Inc. He was Global Head of Advertising Technology Platform at Audience Science (Proctor & Gamble’s exclusive global automated advertising platform), Vice President of Business Development at A6 Corporation, along with being the Global Head of Data Science & Analytics for Microsoft’s consumer properties including MSN, Outlook dot com, Windows, and its programmatic advertising exchange.
As an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, Francois teaches graduate students about blockchain technology. Francois also offers his services to startup accelerators such as Alley Powered by Verizon, mentoring and offering advice on the ever-changing media, FinTech and emerging blockchain spaces.
Francois holds a Master of Science in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Economics and Computer science from the prestigious French engineering school, École Polytechnique.
